ACTIVITIES

Regular activities include Bingo, Quizzes, Skittles and Crafts. Residents particularly enjoy the various musicians and entertainers who visit here. In addition, frequent outings are arranged and visits made to local places of interest. Beverly and Jackie are our Activities Co-ordinators.

At The Old Deanery we realise the value and importance of residents retaining contact with the community. Participation in social activities and entertainment provides valuable stimulation, motivation and may thereby further enhance quality of life. Our Social Activities Co-ordinators work hard to plan a full schedule of activities so that every day provides new opportunities for stimulation and socialisation. As far as possible, we try to meet individual requirements in this respect. Each resident's needs and preferences are discussed and assessed by our Operations Director and Social Activities Co-ordinators and new ideas and suggestions are always invited from residents and families. Trips into the surrounding countryside, local theatre and events are also arranged. Sky TV is available in our new lounge.
